Content Review Process
The workflow from topic selection through publication and ongoing maintenance.
Planning
Topics are selected because they address a meaningful reader question, complete an important subject cluster, correct recurring misinformation, or document a useful method. Search demand may inform priority but does not determine the conclusion.
Production
The standard workflow includes scope definition, source gathering, drafting, claim review, structural editing, final verification, and publication. Articles receive descriptive metadata, internal links, and a review date.
- Define audience, question, and decision
- Gather primary and corroborating sources
- Draft the answer before expanding context
- Review factual claims and qualifications
- Schedule re-review based on volatility
Maintenance
Pages are reviewed when platforms announce material changes, reliable new evidence emerges, a reader reports a concern, or performance monitoring reveals outdated information. Minor style edits do not reset the reviewed date; material changes do.
